If you have been to southern Nevada went to Las Vegas, your next trip should be to northern Nevada. The largest city in this area is Reno, called the biggest little city in the world. It is a place where you can also see wonderful casinos, but at a much smaller level. If you haven’t been there, you will want to stay at some of the nicest casinos in the city in order to get great rates on a room. If you like to gamble, you can definitely do that, but there are also other things that you can do.
Which Casinos Should You Visit?
There are several that are highly recommended which include the Silver Legacy, El Dorado, and the Atlantis. If you are looking for a place with fantastic food, you can head over to the Peppermill. For those looking for the best entertainment, the Grand Sierra is the casino that you will want to stay at during your trip. Once you have done all of the casinos, you can then head out from Reno in different directions and see several different unique spots.
Places To See Just Outside Of Reno
If you had North, you will see what is called Pyramid Lake which is an enormous lake that has a small mountain in the middle which is shaped like a pyramid. If you continue to head north, you will end up in Gerlach Nevada, the place where the famous Burning Man Festival occurs every year. If you head South, you will go to Carson City, and just east of their is Virginia City, both of which have been featured in many westerns throughout the decades. Finally, if you go west you are going to head up into the mountains until you reach Lake Tahoe, one of the most beautiful lakes in all of the United States.
Although Nevada house quite a bit to offer on the southern end, the northern part also has its benefits. You can see so many things, including the goldfields in Rye Patch as you travel up Highway 80 toward Winnemucca. It’s a place that has a large place in history, and it’s also a very modern city to visit. Reno should certainly be your next stop if you want to experience yet another wonderful place in the state of Nevada on your next vacation.
